strata have something in common--the need for help in becoming a contributing
member of their particular place and time. Dr. Maria Montessori deeply understood
this and developed a method of education which educates the whole child. The foundation
of the Montessori approach is based on the belief that education should be an
"aid to life," helping each child discover his or her unique potentials--academically,
socially and spiritually--to the fullest. As the children work toward these goals,
